I received my Bachelor of Arts in Special Education in 1997 from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wa. That year, I headed to Penang, Malaysia to create a Special Education Program K-12 for Dalat International School. After facilitating the program for two years, providing both educational and counseling support, I returned to the Seattle area. I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling from Mars Hill Graduate School in 2002. For the next two years I was employed at the school as a Practicum Facilitator, under the supervision of Dr. Dan Allender. It included continued training in marriage, family, and individual intervention. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and Seattle Counselors Association.
